Contribution Guidelines
Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Community Grants Program accepts applications from IRS-qualified 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations whose mission and programs are consistent with our areas of philanthropic interest, and which serve the communities where our employees live and work. These areas are only in the following states: NJ, NY, PA, CT and MA. If you are not in one of these states please click here for information on our Corporate Giving program.

Tax-exempt organizations including hospitals, government institutions and schools that serve our local communities also may apply.

Some of the information that will be required during the online application includes:

  • Federal Tax ID number for your organization
  • Background information about your organization, including your mission statement
  • A program budget, if the requested funds support a specific program
  • Event information (if applicable)
  • Valid e-mail address for communications
  • A list of your organization’s board of directors and executive officers
  • Most recent Form 990, if required for your organization by the IRS
  • Most recent Annual Report, if available

Grants Submission Process

We accept grant requests year-round; however, we strongly urge you to submit your application at least 12 weeks in advance of the date of required funding.

Funding decisions are announced by letter to recipient organizations. We will contact you if we need additional information.
